The name ‘THE BANERY’ is an acronym of the band members. THE BANERY started out in 2004, with Rafi (Bass Vocal), Egi (Lead Guitar, Vocal). Yudi (Rhytm Guitar, Vocal), Adam (Drum) and Oddo joined on keyboard and vocal. The band was set up fro, desire to express themselves and experiment with fusing various genres of music from each member; Rock and Roll, Opera, Rock, Alternative, anf British Pop. The Bannery called Sunshine Pop as their genre because they have cheerful music even though their lyrics are heart-breaking.

This cheerful thing is represent by Bow-Tie. The colorful bow-tiew are trademark of The Bannery since their first time appearance and show the cheerful music of themselves also harmonious vocal of The Banery. With an unanimous resolve, and strong song material. The Banery are releasing their first full album, with 10 hit songs in the end 2009. The album is in the hands of myOyeah music and produced by Krisna J Sadrach (producer of Ungu, ST 12 and several famous band in Indonesia)

Beside wrote on Facebokk Fans page, their fans (called Baneriser) got their own group with the key word “Baneriser”. The activity on Ffacebook page is positive because it helps The Banery and their fans communicate through the wall

1. Raffly vocalist n bassist banery sering banget isi suara untuk theme song iklan brand terkenal di tv, jadi kalau denger suara suara khas rock n roll banery, udah dpt dipastikan itu raffly.

2.Yudi sang guitaris dan vocal the banery punya julukan lennon. Diambil dari john lennon idolanya

3. Oddo sang keyboardis dan vocal the banery, ternyata seorang penyiar radio lo. Siaran di radio vhr, radio streaming. Dan sekarang kegiatan dr oddo adalah mengurus bengkelnya.

4. Dasi kupu-kupu sudah identik sekali dengan the banery, sampai2 ada istilah salam dasi kupu-kupu sebagai sapaan the banery untuk baneriser, para penggemarnya.

5. Egi sang lead guitar n vocal the banery ternyata sering bermasalah dengan perut dan penernaan, jadi setiap manggung hal pertama yang harus diketahui adalah posisi kamar mandi..hahah
